India celebrates Independence Day every year on 15th August. This is the date in 1947 when India got freedom from British rule. Indians were so happy about this experience of independence, but there was also apprehension in their hearts about partition. A day before India became independent, India was partitioned and became Pakistan. This is the reason why Pakistan’s Independence Day falls exactly a day before India became independent. Bhutan – Bhutan celebrates its Independence Day on 17th December. On 17th December 1907, the Bangchuk dynasty took control of Bhutan. Since then, Bhutan celebrates Independence Day on this day.
Pakistan – Pakistan was created as a result of partition just a day before India became independent. It falls on 14th August, a day before India became independent. Pakistan came to power on 14th August 1947.
China – Dragon China celebrates Independence Day every year on 1st October. The Central People’s Government was formed on October 1, 1949. The establishment had already taken place. But the formation of the government was delayed.
