Just a few seconds of mistake… and a terrible accident could have happened. But thanks to the caution and courage of the RPF jawan, a passenger escaped death. Such a heartbreaking incident was witnessed at Rayagada Railway Station.
On Sunday afternoon at around 4:50 PM, a passenger was running to board the Visakhapatnam-bound Nagaroor Express, train number 20890. At that time, he suddenly lost his balance and fell down, and a terrible situation arose as the train fell down.
At that very moment, RPF Constable Ankur Chaudhary, who was working there, immediately ran and caught the passenger. As a result, a precious life was saved just before he fell on the tracks and a major incident was averted.
After this incident, the people present at the station have fully appreciated the courage and dedication of the RPF jawan. It is learnt that Constable Ankur Chaudhary has saved the lives of passengers on many occasions before.
