YouTuber was stabbed to death by 3 miscreants

Another murder has taken place in the capital. A YouTuber was stabbed to death by 3 youths on Saturday night. The deceased youth is Rahul Maharana (32), a resident of GGP Colony. At 9:30 pm, he was sitting with a friend in the GGP Colony school premises when 3 youths arrived there on a bike and stabbed him suddenly and fled. Rahul was immediately taken to a nearby medical college in a state of blood. From there, he was taken to a private hospital. After he was sent back, he was finally taken to the Capital Hospital. The doctor declared him dead there. Rahul’s relatives have alleged that he was killed over a past enmity. According to him, Rahul has an industrial gas shop in Palasandi Chack. Six months ago, there was a dispute with one of his car owners over parking in front of his shop. Both of them filed a complaint in the police station. Based on this complaint, Rahul was arrested and tried in court by the police. After he got out on bail, there was a dispute between Rahul and the complainant. The complainant lives in Palasandi area. The family members have alleged that he threatened to kill Rahul. Since the complainant is the son of a renowned businessman, the family members told the police that he had committed the murder after being handed over. Relatives said that Rahul had only one enemy.
Rahul got married last December. The couple had been releasing videos on YouTube. When his supporters reached home after getting the news, there was tension in the locality. Police have been deployed at the spot. After the complaint from Rahul’s family, the Rasulgarh police station went to various places to arrest the accused. The police arrested three accused even after 24 hours. The accused were arrested on the basis of CCTV footage by the Mancheswar police station and the Special Squad. The knife used in the murder has also been seized. Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena informed in this regard.
