The young man went to the pond to fish
But the fish in the pond killed the young man from the fish trap
The young man thought that he would catch the fish and happily eat rice with his family. But luckily, fate had something else in mind. In the end, fishing turned into a death trap. The young man’s life ended prematurely after a fish got stuck in his mouth. Although the boy was brought to the hospital, the family has filed a murder complaint against the doctor for negligence. The death of Avinash Maraj of Dighigram under Bangiriposhi police station in Mayurbhanj has now sparked outrage in the local area. While fishing on the embankment, Avinash was trying to bite a live ‘cow’ fish in the mouth. However, due to carelessness, the fish entered his mouth. The fish got stuck in his trachea, making it difficult to breathe. Avinash was taken to Bangiriposhi Community Health Center in a critical condition. The family has filed a complaint alleging negligence by the doctor there. According to the deceased’s grandfather and former sarpanch of Dighi village, Bankim Chandra Mosha, the doctor did not come to the patient even after repeated requests. Not only that, the family has also alleged that the doctor abused and made racial slurs. Instead of treating him, the doctor immediately referred him to Baripada. It is alleged that Avinash Mosha died due to lack of timely treatment. The police have seized the body and sent it for autopsy and have started an investigation into the incident. Local residents have warned of protests in the coming days if action is not taken against the doctor.
