This free service is available only on the ‘Main Aadhaar’ portal, so that people can easily submit documents from their smartphones or computers. However, the last date for free Aadhaar document update has been extended from June 14, 2025 to June 14, 2026.
During this period, people can upload their documents and update their demographic information in the Aadhaar card and for this, they will have to upload documents related to address proof and identity proof. This information was given by the UIDAI in an email.
