Chaudhary’s brother Nikhil, a constable at Parliament Street police station, said that he called him on the day his sister was attacked. He said that while he was talking to his sister on the phone, Ankur started beating her with a dumbbell. After a few minutes, Ankur clearly informed him about the attack over the phone. Then my sister died. A murder case has been registered against Ankur, and he has been arrested and sent to judicial custody. Kajal Chaudhary was recruited in the Delhi Police in 2022 and is currently posted in the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team. She married Ankur, who was posted in Delhi Cantonment, in 2023, and according to reports, the couple has a one-and-a-half-year-old son.
