Two friends, Subhasandhya and Rajalakshmi, went to the pond near the house to bathe. The family asked them to bathe in the pipe well, but the two friends insisted on bathing in the pond. But after some time, the family suddenly saw two minor girls drowning in the water. The family members immediately jumped into the pond and rescued both of them and admitted them to Kaptipada Hospital for treatment, where the doctor declared them dead. The incident of two minor girls drowning in a pond together has created a sense of grief in the locality.
